SALMON SEASON WINDS DOWN
With the sockeye and chinook seasons winding down, AlaskaSE is winding down sales of fresh product for the 2006 season. Look for our return next spring as we look forward to another stellar season, starting with the Copper River in mid-May. Thanks to all of our supporters in 2006, and see you in 2007! Later this fall, look for our new custom order service to tailor your own order of Alaskan seafood for delivery straight to your door!
ALASKASE PARTNERS WITH GLOBALSTAR
As part of our ongoing commitment to Alaska’s fishing industry, we’re proud to announce that AlaskaSE has become an authorized Globalstar, Inc. distributor. Globalstar is an industry leader in satellite voice and data services and opened a new Alaska gateway in Wasilla earlier this summer. To sign up for Globalstar service through AlaskaSE, visit our Fisherman’s Central page and click the Globalstar logo.
ALASKASE ONLINE OUTFITTER OPENS
AlaskaSE is pleased to announce the activation of the newest section of our website, the AlaskaSE Online Outfitter. Drawing upon the tradition of our popular t-shirt, we've opened the Outfitter to offer a variety of AlaskaSE-branded clothing and gear. Our new Online Outfitter section will let you proudly display the AlaskaSE logo wherever your travels take you, while supporting the efforts of Alaskan fishermen and -women to bring the high quality of Alaskan seafood to your door. All proceeds from the Online Outfitter are earmarked for direct support of the marketing efforts of Alaskan seafood.
FREE ALASKASE T-SHIRT OFFER A HUGE SUCCESS
AlaskaSE-logo t-shirts, offered free last year as a reward for participating in AlaskaSE's online survey (part of our ongoing commitment to identifying new, fresh content to best suit the needs of buyers and sellers alike), have seen an overwhelming level of demand over the past few months. Unfortunately, our supply of t-shirts has been significantly reduced as a result, forcing us to temporarily suspend our free t-shirt offer to catch up with the current backlog of requests. Please be patient as we fill our backorders in the order in which they are received.
